Home Weatherization and Energy Rebate Program

The City of Flagstaff provides rebates for energy efficiency upgrades performed within homes in the City of Flagstaff through the Energy Rebate Program. Appliance and weatherization upgrades provide significant energy conservation benefits to homeowners and help to reduce our community-wide energy demand.

The Energy Rebate Program was started in 2013 to assist Flagstaff residents with costs related to the purchase of energy-efficient space and water heaters, and upgrading insulation and air/duct sealing. The program has provided more than $260,000 to over 660 residents in that time.

How to Apply:

Please note that energy applications must be submitted within the fiscal year that work is completed. If your work was completed between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024, you must submit your rebate application by June 30, 2024. Funds are limited and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • This will help ensure your planned upgrades qualify for rebates and that you understand all program rules and restrictions.

  • Download a Rebate Application (PDF). Provide all required information and supplemental documents, including invoices and permits as required.

  • Email the application or mail it to the Sustainability Office at:

  • Upon submission and acceptance, you should receive your rebate check within six weeks of application submission.
