Michael Spear

Michael’s work in the plumbing industry stretches over 30 plus years. He started out as a junior assistant, then a field service technician, then worked his way up to field supervisor and Journeyman Level Plumber.  Michael acquired a vast knowledge of the plumbing service and repair industry, and is very well-respected by his clients and peers.

Throughout his career, Michael has trained junior technicians in the trade while working in the field.  Having come from an entire family of teachers, Michael says teaching comes naturally, as does his dedication to the trades he has mastered.  He holds a high regard for both the teaching profession and continued education, which is why we participate in the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce ‘Flagstaff Values Teachers’ program and believe in paying it forward.

Michael enjoys spending time with his wife Vida and family, including two beautiful grandchildren.  He and his wife love to travel, entertain friends, and enjoy doing home improvement projects around the house.  Occasionally when Michael has time, when he isn’t working from his honey-do list, he works on his classic ’67 Chevy Chevelle and attends classic car shows.

Michael is passionate about his work! He enjoys the challenge of designing, executing, and completing projects small and large, knowing that the customer’s plumbing problems have been resolved.

Mike Burton

Michael grew up on a Midwest farm where both of his parents were teachers.  Michael proudly served in the Marines for a decade during which he received extensive training in the heating and air-conditioning trade. Since becoming a civilian, Michael has continued in the HVAC field and now has 20 years of professional experience. "I take great pride in my workmanship," Michael says. "I make sure every job from beginning to end is done correctly, period."

When it's time to punch the clock you'll often find Michael working on his '66 Chevy truck, taking long rides on his motorcycle, delving into a good book, and hanging out with his dog Sparky.

Vida Spear

Vida is the oldest of six girls, raised in a small town in Ohio before moving with her family to Phoenix in the ‘70‘s. She graduated high school and began taking classes at Glendale Community College, and in 1979 began her career with Price Club when the company was still in its infancy with only four stores.  A few years later Vida transferred to San Diego where she continued working in the Price Club corporate office in the buying department. After 18 years with Price Club (now Costco) she transferred to the Real Estate division and got her real estate license. During the 18 years after her Costco career, Vida worked for an independent company developing items for Wholesale Clubs.

In 2015, Vida and Mike decided that they wanted to be closer to their son Jason and his family, so they packed everything up and moved to Flagstaff. They soon decided to collaborate on Mike's passion and open Your Plumber Heating & Air together.

When Vida isn’t participating in the day-to-day business at Your Plumber, she enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren.  She is an avid baker, loves to cook, craft, read, travel and work out.

Jack Spear

Jack is the office assistant, providing support and hugs as needed. A seven year old golden retriever with a puppy-like personality, he loves everyone he meets. While he’s not quite ready to answer service calls, he will gladly sit all 80 pounds of himself on your lap given the opportunity.

Jack spends his days in the office diligently dreaming of birds and bunnies, and supervising his ‘Mommy' while she works.
